Application Requirements: |
Betsy and Walter Cronkite were two extraordinary individuals. Many know Walter Cronkite as the man who delivered the news of the day as the anchor of the CBS evening news from 1962-1981. Betsy Cronkite was known for her quick mind and keen sense of humor. She was adored by family and friends. Walter attributes the success of their nearly 65 year marriage to Betsy's humor, tolerance and support. Betsy Cronkite died March 15, 2005. Walter Cronkite died July 17, 2009. |
