HUD is allocating $1,743,001,247 in disaster aid to help the State of Texas recover from Hurricanes Ike and Gustav. The emergency funding will support Texas' long-term disaster recovery and is in addition to the $1.3 billion HUD allocated to the State last year through its Community Development Block Grant Program.
