Sí Texas: Social Innovation for a Healthy South Texas

MHM's Sí Texas: Social Innovation for a Healthy South Texas project, a Social Innovation Fund program, stimulates local solutions that improve both physical and behavioral health together, such as diabetes and depression.

Sí Texas focuses on integrated behavioral health (IBH) models that are effectively improving health outcomes in communities with high rates of poverty, depression, diabetes, obesity and associated risk factors. The project targets twelve South Texas counties: Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, Willacy, Kenedy, Brooks, Jim Hogg, Zapata, Duval, Jim Wells, Kleberg and Webb. The project is the result of an investment from the Social Innovation Fund of the Corporation for National and Community Service, and leverages both federal and non-federal dollars to South Texas that otherwise would not have been available to the region.

Get Involved

Become a grantee. We are seeking high performing partners to join the Sí Texas Project in these South Texas counties: Cameron; Hidalgo, Starr, Willacy; Kenedy; Brooks; Jim Hogg; Zapata; Duval; Jim Wells; Klebeg; and Webb.

Donate or partner. There are many ways for donors and partners to support Sí Texas. Some of the most effective ways to provide support include: Contributing resources toward Sí Texas match funding requirements of nonprofit organizations; making investments aligned with Sí Texas priorities; and partnering with an organization to advance their impact in local communities through service, joint initiatives or other methods.
