Local back-to-school drive to benefit The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio

WHAT:  University of Phoenix has joined with The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio to collect school supplies through physical donations at the University’s San Antonio Campus location. Some of the much-needed items include backpacks, pencils, pens, notebook paper, crayons, markers and highlighters. Online donations can also be made to help the club purchase supplies specifically needed by the club and its members.


WHEN:                    July 14 – August 11, 2014 (San Antonio’s tax free weekend runs August 8 – 10)

WHO:  University of Phoenix San Antonio Campus Director Wally Hedgecock is available to discuss the University’s commitment to ensuring local students have the supplies necessary to succeed upon entering the classroom for the upcoming school year.
