McConnell & Jones LLP Executives Discuss Auditing and Benefit Programs With Texas Member Food Banks

McConnell & Jones LLP (MJ), senior executives have been selected to share expertise with Texas food bank professionals.  Government and Non Profit Sector Leader, Jonathan Ellis, and Human Resource Director, Mandy Szabo, will speak to 19 Texas Member food banks at the Texas Food Bank’s Accounting and Human Resource Conference. The topics to be covered are “Auditing the Auditor” and “Cost Effective Benefit Programs”.

The discussions will highlight MJ’s audit knowledge and management style, as it relates to assurance services and human resource management. Ellis will discuss the best practices in working with external auditors, including auditor selection, rotation, and retention. Szabo will discuss how designing, developing demographics, and negotiating is key to cost savings when developing a benefit program.

The event will take place March 19-20th at the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center.
